TLS certificate validation was explicitly disabled by setting `SSL_verify_mode` to `SSL_VERIFY_NONE` or `0`. This failure to validate the cryptographic boundary permits Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks. Use `SSL_VERIFY_PEER` to securely resolve this issue.
